Chicken and Chinese Sausages Rice

  • Chicken (chopped)
1/2 piece
  • Chinese preserved sausage
1 piece
  • Chinese liver sausage
1 piece
  • Spring onion
(finely chopped)
  • Rice
1½ Cup
  • Water
1½ Cup

  • Shaoxing wine
1 tablespoon
  • Soya sauce
½ tablespoon
  • Sesame oil
  • Sugar
1 teaspoon
  • Corn starch
1 teaspoon
Chicken and Chinese Sausages Rice
Cooking Method:

  1. Marinate the chicken for about 20 minutes.
  2. Put rice, water, Chinese preserved sausage and Chinese liver sausage into Le Creuset Round French Oven 18cm, bring it to boil over medium heat.
  3. Then cook over medium-low heat with lid on for 3-4 minutes. Turn off the heat, set aside with the lid on for about 30 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the spring onion, then serve the dish hot with the pot.
Cooking Tips:

  1. Le Creuset cast iron casseroles distributes heat evenly and good in heat retention, which can make boiled rice easily in just 20 minutes, and even cook for another 2-3 minutes to make scorched rice.
