Beef Shabushabu

Ingredients:

  • Baby Chinese cabbage
1 piece
  • Onion (diced)
½ piece
  • Carrot (sliced)
2 pieces
  • Shiitake mushroom
2 pieces
  • Enoki mushroom
½ bunch
  • Shimeji mushroom
½ package
  • Leek (sliced)
½ stalk
  • Tofu (diced)
½ package
  • Konnyaku noodle
½ package
  • Beef (Thinly sliced)
200g
Sauce:

  • Water
500g
  • Soy sauce
40g
  • Mirin
30g
  • Sugar
20g
  • Japanese rice wine
10g
  • Dashi stock powder
5g
Beef Shabushabu
Cooking Method:

  1. Prepare the sauce and set aside.
  2. Add sauce and all ingredients (except sliced beef) to the Le Creuset 26cm Buffet Casserole, bring to boil over medium heat. Put the lid on and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Place sliced beef in the pot, cook with lid on for 10 seconds. Ready to serve hot.
Cooking Tips:

  1. Le Creuset's cast iron casserole is good at heat retention. By using the condensed water vapour from the ingredients itself to cook, the original taste of the dish can be remained.
