Toughened Non-Stick (TNS) Guarantee

What does this guarantee cover?

Le Creuset cookware is guaranteed to you by Le Creuset Malaysia to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of its purchase. For this Lifetime Guarantee to apply, you must follow the care and use instructions provided with the utensil. This guarantee covers normal household use only.

What does this guarantee not cover?

The guarantee covers faulty workmanship and/or materials when the product is used in normal domestic conditions in accordance with the care and use instructions provided. It does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use or misuse of the product.

The Le Creuset Lifetime Guarantee does not cover damage to the non-stick surface caused by overheating or scratching.

Overheating
Damage from overheating during cooking is instantly recognisable. The non-stick surface becomes discoloured and in severe cases detaches from the pan in the form of blistering or peeling.

Scratching
Score marks or severe scratching caused by heavy use of metal tools is not covered by the guarantee. Such damage is permanent and will result in a reduction of the non-stick release performance.

Defective cookware will be repaired or, if repair is not possible, replaced free of charge with a similar product or one of equivalent value if the original product is no longer in production. Please note that in the case of a set, only the faulty item will be replaced.

Who is covered by this guarantee?

This Lifetime Guarantee covers the original retail consumer purchaser of the utensil, or a consumer who receives the utensil new and unused as a gift from the original retail purchaser. Coverage terminates if a covered consumer sells or otherwise transfers the utensil (this guarantee is provided only to consumers, and all express and implied guarantees to non-consumers are disclaimed).

How long does this guarantee last?

This Lifetime Guarantee begins on the date of purchase and lasts as long as a covered consumer owns the utensil.

What will we do?

Defective cookware will be replaced free of charge, or replaced by a similar product or one of equivalent value if the product is no longer in production. Replacement with the same colour cannot be guaranteed.

Procedure for claiming

Email us the following at enquiries.my@lecreuset.com :

1. Your name
2. Contact number
3. Place of purchase
4. Receipt of purchase
5. Product description (product/size/colour)
6. Attach pictures of the affected areas and your product
7. Detail the issue that you are facing in writing.

All product returns or Warranty enquiries will be handled by Le Creuset Malaysia’s HQ. The cost of returning the product to our HQ, if applicable, is the responsibility of the purchaser.
